Quality & Care
How our blinds are built to last.
Materials and hardware, child-safety by design, and how to care for each fabric and finish.
Materials & build
The parts you don’t see are the ones that last.
4th-gen dust-guard headrail
A covered headrail keeps dust off the mechanism, with a reinforced crescent bottom rail so the stack hangs straight and quiet over years of use.
Honeycomb & foil-lined cells
Cellular shades use a spunlace non-woven honeycomb that traps air for insulation; a foil-coated cell gives true blackout where you need it.
Reinforced slats & hardware
Aluminium slats are reinforced (0.18–0.21 mm); zebra and sheer shades run a reinforced U-shaped weight bar and a second-generation silicone handle so they glide true.
Sealed magnetic units
Integral magnetic blinds seal an aluminium venetian inside 5 mm tempered glass — nothing to dust, nothing to snag, moved by a magnetic slider.
Child safety by design
Cordless where it counts.
Looped operating cords are a strangulation risk on family windows, and cordless designs are the safer standard buyers increasingly ask for. Most of our shades can be built cordless.
Tell us your destination market and we’ll confirm the cordless / child-safe build and the documentation we can provide for your order.
Care
Keeping each finish at its best.
Aluminium, PVC & magnetic
Wipe slats with a soft, damp cloth; aluminium and PVC are moisture-tolerant and clean up easily, which is why they suit kitchens and bathrooms. The magnetic blind’s slats sit inside the glass, so they never need cleaning.
Basswood
Dust with a dry cloth or brush; the UV-baked finish tolerates moisture but timber blinds are best away from continuously wet rooms. A little care keeps the wood looking premium for years.
Cellular & honeycomb
Vacuum gently with a brush head or dust with a soft cloth. Functional fabrics resist everyday soiling; the foil-lined blackout cell keeps its performance with light care.
Zebra & sheer fabrics
Zebra fabrics come in three-proof (water / oil / stain) and five-proof finishes for easy cleaning. Sheer and Shangri-La weaves are UV-resistant and anti-static; spot-clean and let air-dry.
Standards & documentation
Straight about what we can document.
We build to the materials and construction described on this site. Where your market needs a specific test report or compliance document — for fabric, fire performance, or child-safety — tell us the requirement and we’ll confirm what we can provide for your order.
We’d rather say that plainly than print logos we can’t stand behind.
